Library theatre 

The Library Theatre is situated inside the characteristic Central Library building in the city centre of Rotterdam. At regular moments cabaret and theatre performances, concerts and lectures are staged in this attractive setting.

Apart from all this, the Library Theatre and its foyer are a frequent venue for widely varying events like congresses, seminars, symposiums, workshops, debates, presentations, receptions or dinners. The Library Theatre is fully accessible to wheelchairs.

Theatre Room
The Theatre Room of the Library Theatre offers 179 seats and disposes of professional lighting and sound equipment. The stage measures 6 metres in depth, 10 metres in width and 4 metres in height. There is an audio circuit for people with hearing difficulties.

Foyer
The Foyer is a pleasant room, offering reception accommodation to up to ± 180 visitors. Please contact our home caterer if should you wish to organise a buffet or dinner here. The Foyer has a bar and a small stage and has its own lighting and sound equipment.

Programme
The Library Theatre offers interesting theatre programmes each season. You can watch cabaret and stage performances and all the year round there are regular mornings for senior visitors. Facilities

The Library Theatre can support and facilitate your activities in many ways. If required you can use a beamer, slide projector or internet connection. To support your performance you can also use a piano or grand piano. The rent of our theatre includes the lighting and sound equipment for the room and one technician in attendance to operate it. Behind the screens there are two dressing-rooms with shower and toilet. If required our home caterer Café Restaurant Dik T. can see to all your drinks, snacks or full dinner arrangements. '
