Applications for membership of the Rotterdam Library can be made in several ways.
At the desk
You can fill in a registration form at all branches of the Rotterdam Library. You become a member of the library and receive your borrower’s pass on payment of your subscription and showing a valid proof of identity (passport, driver’s licence or ID).
Via 'My Library'
You can fill in a computerised form in the 'My Library' section of this site. Your records are filed in the computer of the Rotterdam Library. If you then visit one of our branches and show your valid proof of identity and pay your subscription you have become a member of the library and receive your borrower’s pass. For the present ‘My Library’ is only available in Dutch.

Registration fee for borrowers of 18 years and over: € 3,00. You must bring a valid proof of identity on registering.
Discounts
RotterdamPas card (new member or extending membership): € 10.00 discount
Termination of membership
Membership of the Rotterdam Library is extended automatically, unless it is terminated not later than the expiry date. Send your termination to: Bibliotheek Rotterdam, afdeling Klantenservice, Hoogstraat 110, 3011 PV Rotterdam, or mail to:
'Klantenservice'.
Central Discotheque
Membership of the Central Discotheque is free to members of the Rotterdam Library on showing their borrower’s pass. The normal discotheque-only charge would be € 10.50.
